First Holy Communion
Preparation for First Holy Communion presents a unique and challenging situation this year on account of the pandemic. For good reasons many families have been physically away from Mass for almost two years, indeed there has not been an obligation to attend Sunday Mass since March 2020.
If you are comfortable with physically coming to Mass and are interested in your child making their First Communion in 2022 please see Fr Graham or Fr Axcel after Mass to collect an Application Form. These are no longer available online. This should be completed and returned to the parish house by Sunday 6th February. You will then be contacted to discuss your application.
It may be that we run an additional programme or First Holy Communion celebration later in the year depending on the numbers coming forward for preparation at this stage and/or when families are comfortable to commit to returning to Mass on a regular basis.
